I enthusiastically recommend jazz musician Keith Felch and the talented pool of performers he works together with.

I recently booked Keith as the director of a jazz trio for an upscale, outdoor cocktail party I threw in honor of my parents in the backyard of their San Juan Capistrano foothills estate. From the moment I spoke to Keith on the phone during the collecting information and beginning planning phase of my event, he distinguished himself as being particularly talented, organized, and insightful. During that first phone call he was the only potential musician I spoke with who was interested in gathering information about my venue, my hopes, the nature of my event, the kind of audience I would be providing, and the ambiance I wanted to set for my evening. His talent would later be revealed by a demo CD, but right away I knew he could create any kind of musical pairing to meet the needs and the feel of my event.

Once booked, Keith proved to be hard working and dependable. Every piece of communication between us was returned promptly and completely. I felt completely assured he would do a fabulous job. While I worried about other vendors, whether they would show up on time or honor every detail of our contract, I meanwhile announced to all of my RSVPing guests that the jazz trio would be the hit and treat of the evening.

And it was! Keith arrived earlier than any other vendor to set up. He completely handled every aspect of set-up without needing me, and after an hour of hard labor, presented himself and his trio in full tuxedo in plenty of time for early guests. His group set a romantic, cultured backdrop to the party. The jazzy tunes were flawless, recognizable, delicious, smooth. More than one guest complimented me regarding them as the night came to a close.

Some jazz musicians sound great. Others run a dependable business. Keith manages to do both. You’ll enjoy the music as well and the business relationship.
